Is it possible to restrict through a subscription any or all of the following: - Just a paragraph (or any segment) of a Joomla content item? - Just a paragraph (or any segment) or a K2 element content? - Just certain K2 extra fields? - Certain areas of a Joomla template?

If so, how could I do it?

Hi Sergey,

When I restrict a content with PAID placeholder, Emerald shows a message as: This content will be available to you on 14.07.2015 at 20:00.

My Joomla time is Istanbul which is GMT +3. I get complaints that the restricted content does not become available at the indicated time but 3 hours later.

Maybe you remember, we have changed a table structure together and added a few more columns like created, purchased etc for a plan. And the date purhased became raw date format after then.

I think you need to update the time and date section of the content restricter plugin, the time is not shown correctly. I dont know what happens when someone buys a plan at 23:00 and the site is GMT +3.

Kind regards, Hakan

What is your Joomla timesone setting? And what is your server time zone?

I am sure you need to switch Joomla timesone to UTC.

Hi Sergey,

I still think that this is an Emerald issue. Because no matter what the server settings are, when I post an article (which I just did) the posting time of the article is correct. Also, I just posted a comment via jcomments and the posting time is correct. If it had been an issue with the server time the posting times would have been wrong.

13:09:36 EEST 2015 is my server time when it is 13:09 in İstanbul and my Joomla time zone is Istanbul which is +3.

Kind regards, Hakan

Hi Sergey,

Sorry for taking your time for this. I have checked the front end and the database, indeed I could not reproduce the error that the client was complaining about. There seems to be nothing wrong.

I would like to thank you one more time for this least buggy component I have ever used.

Kind regards, Hakan
