Restrict part of a content item

You cannot use . This syntax is true for UNPAID but for PAID you have to use [PAID={"id":"8"}]. But I'll make it work in the next release.

maleli PAID (without any other parameters) won't show the restricted content.

This id done intentionaly. What if you what to hide part of content without any message? For example you only hide with [PAID] and message you display with [UNPAID].

[PAID={"id":"6"}] You are subscribed so you can see this content. Nothing should show here to non subscribers.

But now the text "You see this because you are not subscribed" isn't showing when I am not subscribed. :(

I logged in as demoadmin and I can see the text.

This is wonderful. One more thing, if I have used the delay option, I would like to show the subscriber how many days left for the content to be available. "This content will be available for you 2 days later." So is it possible to add one more parameter to the placeholder which will show how many days left. And the message should be customized somehow. I live in Turkey so the message should be in Turkish I mean.

Yes it does show the message. And you can translate into any language by translatin Emerald language file.

When I use the delay parameter of the [PAID] placeholder, there is an illogical issue.

When the delay text is visible, the title and the link should be hidden (invisible).

The user has bought the subscription and waiting for the content to be accessible for him. There is a text for him saying that "this content will be available for you on this date:". So there is no use of showing him the title for the unpaid users (which says someting like "you have to buy this content") and the link to buy a new subscription. It is confusing and might force the user to rebuy the subscription when there is no need.

Also, in the language string for the delay text, is it possible to put two parameters for the date and time? Is there a way to change the format of the date that is used here. I'd rather use the date format in Emerald global settings.

Which one should I select if I want to hide the restricted content from the bots? Yes or no? Shall I select the names of the bots below then?

I use DATE_FORMAT_LC2 for date format. You can change that in Joomla language file.

But in generald you will allow to see restricted content for those user agents that are in the list of user agents.

When the time and the date is together in the delay text, it is hard to create a clear sentence in Turkish. But if you can create two parameters for the date and the time, it is easier for me to write an understandable text like:

This content will be available to you on 14.07.2014 at 20:13.

Language string: This content will be available to you on %s at %s.

And for restricting the bots, I didn't get you this time. Shall I select yes or no to hide my content from all the bots? Please just say yes or no.

I would defenetely hide it. If bots dee it, users will be also able to see шер through search engine cache.

This post is only about the PAID placeholder!!! The behaviour of PAID placeholder for the PAID ones and UNPAID ones. There is no information here about the UNPAID placeholder.

When there is a delay text, the title and the link should be hidden for the subscribers but not for the NONPAID. There is a mistake here again. When there is a delay text, buy now link disappears both for PAID and NONPAID. It should be visible for the NONPAID but hidden for the PAID.

Here is what I have written before as a detaled explanation.

When there is delay text:
PAID users must see only the delay message, NO title, NO link.
UNPAID users must see the title and the link, NO delay message.

In UNPAID there is no delay parametre at all. So you add it or not it will not change the behavior. UNPAID will always show title and link to unpaid users.
