I understand you want to keep everything simple, but it would be so much complicated to add, if not the possibility for custom fields, at least

avatar and website and social profile fields

in "my homepage" ?

Yep, really curious about what is coming up in C8++ ;-)

Weird ideas: - Loading a Records Module with cobalt template override for currently viewed homepage.
- Additional Link/URL field where i can select my detailed Cobalt profile article.
