It is a good feature to allow placeholders in the alert messages.

However, I have some new ideas to improve this feature:

  1. the placeholder [USER] is for "user's real name", not his "username (login name)". I think, we need both of them, in case some users will forget his own login name, so he can check this alert email and get it. So, I suggest to use [USER] for "realname" (just as it does now), add a new one [LOGINNAME] for his "username".
  2. There is no placeholder for "user's email". I suggest to add one, such as [YOURMAIL]. In case some website uses email for login name.
