calculation field idea for cobalt

Reminds me on an older ME Resources topic. Slightly different, because it is related to field manipulation and storage. More or less server-based stuff.

Your example link might be possible with client-side javascript. So, maybe possible with custom templates and jQuery or Mootools. I assume, no data has to be saved to the database. But even this should be possible.

Depends on what you want to calculate, and what should happen to the results.
