I just created a comment about online indicator where i used the word "grey". If i use this as search criteria, it can not be found.

This is mistery. Cannot find the reason. Will search more.

Good point. I have figured out that comments are not included into fulltext search and word gray was used only in comments. Looks like I'll have to add this feature to Cobalt.

Actually, in my opinion you have to "optimize" the search a little ... remember my topic about the search modes and how to make it more user friendly....

As it is now, the search is not really what you expect from a forum. Same before with Angeldesk, the search quality was not acceptable.

It would bring up again a discussion about optional/additional Searchengine integration (like what rockettheme did with kunena forum and elasticsearch)

Sergey Looks like I'll have to add this feature to Cobalt.

think again about the lengthly discussed elasticsearch feature.

Sackgesicht think again about the lengthly discussed elasticsearch feature.

I already love elastic search although have never used it yet. But right now I simply do not have time for that. The quickes solution would be to add comments content into fulltext search.

It finds it because there is word portal is used.

if you search for portal , you will get 11 hits .. "job portal" will give 6 hits, but in this topic the word job is not used

This is I do not know why. it is FULLTEXT natural language search. This is how it analyzes.

I would not like to switch to LIKE search.
