If i dont want to show a field for a user group and remove the "Restriction message", it will reappear after 2nd saving. First it accepts the empty message, but on the next saving, it sets its default again.

That is true. I do not know good way to solve. If I do not set defaults then user may not know how it works and if I set defaults what you have just described happens.

I do ntщ know goot way to solve this.

IMHO, do not set a default. On the other hand... it is also the text string, someone might need to know for quick text changes...

quick ideas:

A) Why not "remove" it via language override? Or do you need the message on another field?

B) What about hiding with CSS. Is it possible to get a special class or ID for that particular output. i.e. classname scheme like .cobfieldID (BTW, Community Builder has such a complete CSS markup for every field and container. Very helpful in many cases)

We do have ID for every field so you can hide it.

I discovered that if you enter whitespace then it keeps it as parameter and also hides field.
