MySQL -- Saving IP address as integer against varchar(15)

We never look for IP address in this table. Even when we get country from ip2country DB we only use it but not look in records table. When we look it in ip2country DB we convert to integer and look as integer. So it does not influence performance. But it would disable to see IP address in tool like PMA and would require come tricks to get real IP address.
