Config not found: /var/www/joomla/components/com_cobalt/configs/default_cindex_select.875b1a0ba3b3f5fafee790d3b1473e89.json I checked and sure enough file does not exist but where is it comimg from and how do i fix. i get the error when entering section from front end.

Hello nhdave, this is a file which saves certain template parameters.
Hence the name: The beginning is the actual template it belongs to.

Category Index, Select style.

Please, check your Section:

Tab General Parameters -> Templates -> Category Index

There should be a template called "Select".

Did you use this template?
If yes, click the edit-button to get to the parameters.
Save the parameters and save section.

That should create at least a new config file.
