Hi I just bought the video upload plugin and created one record that worked well. After that I got this error in the backend: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/dem28tr/public_html/abt/libraries/cms/html/select.php on line 571 and I cant add a video upload to any new record.

Please advise!

Thanks.

No it doesnt work. When I click on the Embed or Link button, nothing happens. In the admin backend, when I click on the video field, I see this error: Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/dem28tr/public_html/abt/libraries/cms/html/select.php on line 571

Also please see this error: http://demotored.com/abt/myuserprofile.html The "My Song" profile has so many errors on the intro view.

Thanks for your help, Tayo

teeore Also please see this error: http://demotored.com/abt/myuserprofile.html The "My Song" profile has so many errors on the intro view.

those errors because of image in My Songs. Change images. I am not even sure what this page is. is it profile in Easysocial or list of articles in Cobalt.

teeore No it doesnt work. When I click on the Embed or Link button, nothing happens.

Where? In the form? What is in Cobsole? Any error?

It is a list of articles in cobalt. Is there any reason why uploading the images should cause those errors? Also there are no related errors in the console. When I click on the links to add the videos, nothing happens. No errors either.

Thanks for your help. Tayo

teeore why uploading the images should cause those errors?

If comeone upload something but not image. Let's say someone renamed extension of the PHP script to .gif and try to upload. That may cause errors. Sometimes images saved in apps that does not save it correctly. It happence from time to time and I do notknow how to fix it. On your live site simply turn error reporting off in global Joomla configuration to hide error messages.

teeore When I click on the links to add the videos, nothing happens. No errors either.

Please give direct link where it is happening I cannot find it on your page.

Thanks for your reply. The error shows up in Joomla backend when you click on the Types >> Fields >> Video. This is the error: Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/abt5ol2/public_html/libraries/cms/html/select.php on line 571 I suspect that this is what is causing the video upload not to work. To duplicate the problem, please log into the frontend here: http://africabokutalent.org/ Then go to this page: http://africabokutalent.org/submit-profile.html At the bottom under Video(s), there is an 'Embed' and 'Link' link to add the video content. CLicking on any of these, does nothing. So a video cant be added.

Thanks for your help on this.

teeore That is working just fine now. I still dont know why I see an error in the admin section when I click on the video type. Is there anything I can do to remove this?

Have you update cobalt, or only field?

teeore Also when logged in and you go to this page: http://africabokutalent.org/view-all-profiles/items/1-profiles.html The icons for bookmark, edit, etc just around a lot and when you click on edit icon, everything disappears and you dont get the option to edit unless you do it 2 or 3 times

this problem I think with css or js, because in default template all work fine.

You can't login in backend?

Sorry I just saw this. Please see attached image. In the backend I am already logged in and navigate to the Cobalt extension, then click on Records. I want to edit or view one of my records so I click on it. This is when I get a login screen again with an error that says 'No Permissions' just like in the attached image.

Also, in the frontend, I am logged in as a super administrator and I go to this page to view pending approvals: http://africabokutalent.org/pending-approvals.html But it says "You have not permissions to view this page".

One more thing, on this page: http://africabokutalent.org/view-all-profiles/items/1-profiles.html , the intro cuts off before the read more text because I set only a certain number of characters to show. But the way it cuts off is not really ideal. Is it possible to leave an ellipsis (like this "...") at the end of the last word? And how do I do that?

Thanks so much for your help on this.

I logged in on frontend in backend with user media2014 and all works fine, I can open record to edit from backend, maybe your user hasn't enough rights.

Try use this: www.w3schools.com/cssref/css3_pr_text-overflow.asp
