Return correct status when accessing expired article page

Hey Sergey,

Is it possible that you can return a better status when someone access a page of an article which expired ?

Currently if you access a such article page the header status returned is 200, which this I think should return maybe a 404 status ?

I can do that but in Joomla if I use 404 then it produce error page without modules. SO it has another side. What is better 200 and message in style of site or 404 and Joomla error page?

My two cents: I don't think a 404 is the right error/code for an expired article. In general, the article might be published or prolonged at a later date. Or it is even visible with expired date. It is not gone or permanently removed, IMHO.
