Has anyone managed to extend Cobalt to search within documents uploaded to Cobalt as well as fields defined in Cobalt as searchable? I've done a few projects now where I've built a "library" where people can upload documents along with various metadata defined as fields in Cobalt as well as tags. Searching and filtering to find those documents is done via those fields. It would be great if Cobalt search could also do searches within documents (or a document search index).
Two approaches come to mind...
* Convert a document from PDF to txt and put it into a hidden Cobalt field that could be searchable. This assumes all documents are uploaded as PDF - which is fine for me right now.
* Integrate something like JiFile ( http://extensions.joomla.org/extension/jifile ), if that's even possible.
