In fact Cobalt 8 has global "Template Compatibility" parameter. If Cobalt soes not looks nice in template just enable it.

And you can also easily test it. Just install any JA template and see what happens.

I am using Cobalt with Joomlart Intranet, with disabled template compatibility Cobalt looks weird, with turned on template compatibility Cobalt looks normal, but templates menu module displays weird. What can I do? I can't change Template and also I can't say no to Cobalt.

I do nto know what to do in case like this. I know that this is hard to suggest. I can only suggest you to change your template provider.

Little headsup: The BLANK T3 v3 template has a special BOOTSTRAP v2 variant! This might give you the best compatibility.

The pre-build JA club templates make use of bootstrap v3. There is some legacy stuff and fixes, but in most cases you would have to know your way in CSS customization.

I have solved this problem using custom templates for cobalt with support of Bootstrap 3, but have problems with filter module which I mentioned in other post.
