Where do you copy it? There is no such a button in Cobalt.

I also mentioned this via skype.. i think its on the TODO list. It drives my staff mad to have to setup 27 fields each time, and all their settings.. (I get them to copy Types as I don't want to get mad :)

I would also Add, that I see this as a bug. It is totally unexpected behavior to not have the Type copied 100% intact. Its one of the few gripes we have with Cobalt.

:O :D Finally found and noticed the SAVE AS COPY button INSIDE edit content type! Totally overlooked because I always pay attention to the parameters area. I would rather expect to find it above the content types listing.

Possible points of view:

1.) It copies the type plus parameters (except for MenuItemID/Link). So it works and follows the J! standard buttons.

2.) Fields are considered to be an inner basic part of a type. They should be copied along with it. So, it might be considered as a "bug" or at least an incomplete feature ;-)

But 2.) also includes another thought. Copy fields along with a type should be an option, IMHO. That would need two actions/buttons. Not sure if Split-Buttons are possible in J! toolbar... at least i have only seen single action buttons in the standard managers.
