Data import but for unavailable geo fields via MySQL?

Hi,

I'm currently looking at importing data for lots of places.

The CSV import feature only allows Latitude & Longitude import into the geo field, but not "address line 1", "city", "postocde" etc.

Does anyone have any advice on how I could do the data import manually via mysql?

I've taken a look at the database structure and, to me, it's a bit confusing ... but that's only because I don't know it at all! :-)

Any help on this would be very appreciated.

Hi,

To get this past a problem I have created text fields for the address details, and then disabled the address part of the geo field.

Not ideal, but it seems ok to work with and it makes things less complicated.

So please mark this as 'resolved' or what you like.
