Hi Serge,

The last 2 full (Everything) update packages upon install they reset all the template settings back to default. Bit of a pain to have to go and re setup the template parameters.

Yes, this is true. When it is installed as package somehow it deletes custom files. Joomla behave differently if you install as component and if you install as package.

Bugger, so that means I cant use the package to do the updates super easy and quick. It does seem to keep some of the Cobalt template settings but not all. OK

Yes, it somehow delete but not always :) We are looking for reason.

Another way to create field templates using Joomla template override technique. Then you surely will not lose it on update.

Another thing that Cobalt integrated with Akeeba backup and it creates restoration point on every install with includes all templates.

Also soon after we update MintJomla.com to Joomla 3.0 we will implement automatic update through Joomla update service. This should also wor fine :)
