Record Module - Fatal Error - Cobalt 8

Hi,

We are having an error with the record module written as:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getItem() on a non-object in /home/xxxx/xxxx/xxxx/components/com_cobalt/library/php/helpers/itemsstore.php on line 80

We have replaced the directories with xxxx for some security aspects, we are using the latest record module released today, that is version 8.34 on Joomla 3.0.4.

We want to use the module so show featured records within specific section/type both on our website home page and some other internal pages, can you please assist?

You have to update Cobalt itself. Should be fixed in latest release yesterday. Or is that one you are using?

Hi,

I am using the latest version, that is Cobalt v8.213, however, it seems that this was a conflict with Gantry framework! Yesterday, when I install the module, I was using a template from Rockettheme, but today, we decided that RT template was too heavy and we decided to rather use a Yootheme template, and surprise, the module is just working perfectly now!

So, my conclusion is that it was a conflict with Gantry.
