I think there is a bug (or an unusual new feature...) in last release (7.8459).
I install a brand new Joomla with last Cobalt release.
I created some categories and a few records (very basic) to test some features.
Most of records are shown / not shown in wrong / right categories.
Section records list -> displaying records in categories.
When I downgraded to previous version (7.8379), the records were displayed in the right categories.
