Hi,

I just saw this after changing a title of a record: the alias stays the same! Is this a bug or a feature?

Best regards, Jeff

Ah ok & following

BTW IMHO It's very difficult (read: impossible) to find the topic you are looking for in this forum. I think searching in the titles only would give me more accurate results....

you were one who mentioned that forum search only search in titles and I included body later :)

lol :-)

Maybe a good reason to include advanced search in this forum? It's just a button , you know.... ;-)

But there is no filter for HTML field or title separately. I mean even with advanced search I cannot allow sepatare text search on title and body with comments. It is fulltext index. And all is there.

Yes, understand...it's quite a dilemma.

In that case I vote for title search only. At least I get better results then.... IMHO it could promote forum posters to provide good and searchable titles to their topics.

What about adding tags and respective filter? That might lead to additional, better descriptions. Sort of sub-categorization.

That is always a good idea.
