Number of records in filter box

I have enable to show in filter the number of records for filtering. I have two records and I have unpublished the one. The filter still shows that the number of records is two.

On performing the filtering it correctly shows only one records.

Is there any configuration for this or is it a bug.

As of the moment the filter query will count all existing values, regardless if the record is published or not.

It works like the section parameter "Category Count Mode" set to "Fast Count"

Counting un-published items? Why should someone filter for something that is actually not there.

There are section where there are no unpublished articles ever. No hidden. They have what they have. For those projects fast count simply improve speed.

But you can always use smart count, can't you? So what is the issue?
