Off topic regarding ip redirection -> language

Hi!

I want that the user is redirected to mysite.com/index.php?lang=br when he comes from brasil. (i have falang installed)

It appears there is no extension for J3.0 that does this!

I checked this script but it has to be on the root folder:

http://ip2nation.com/

The question here is... is there any disadvantage in placing a website inside a folder? Like www.mysite.com/site
