i have mighty registration and mighty membership running on an old 1.5 site, I am upgrading it however, the captcha hasnt worked in a while and it would be awesome to get it working until the new site is available, also, I would like ot to know if there was a way to export the memberships we do have in there.

the siimage doesnt display, leaving it impossible to get through the registration. I have added a required check box at this point.

if you could, please email me at jeremyrreger at gmail.com thanks!

Hello Jeremy,
here is a related topic and comments you might be interested in:
- How do I import Mighty Membership users from J1.5 site?

Regarding Mighty Registration:
Do you have a lot of extra fields/infos? Unfortunately there is no successor of the component.
Does it have any export features? If not, you would have to export user data from the database directly...
I am sure "Sergey" can give some useful information for this task.

In Joomla 3 you might use the core profile plugin...
or an advanced 3rd-party extension i.e. Easy-Profile, EasySocial, JomSocial, CB, etc.

I do not have much suggestions about Mighty Registration. You can use PMA(PhpMyAdmin) to export user data to CSV. But I do not know what extension would be nice to replace it and what extension you can import those fields.

Thank you! I have the new site covered with JomSocial and PayPlans.. but I think I may be down to manually entering all the data in from the old system to the new system.

The simple spam measure of just adding a required check box seems to have thwarted the spam for now.. :)

Thanks! Love the new site and stuff btw..

I guess, JomSocial has a (simple) import/export feature. At least it is mentioned in v4.1 online docs:
Joomla Backend -> JomSocial -> Monitor -> Members

There are also commercial 3rd-party solutions:
