Emerald feature questions

Hi,

I am looking at purchashing Emerald but have some questions and would like to confirm some features.

I woudl appreciae it if you could review the questions below and provide feedback.

  1. Do you offer custom development?
  2. Does extension integrate with Joomla user registration? a. Can you assign member to one or more user types/category based on membership plan
  3. Multiple User Access? a. Member can provide access to another user to specific sections of the website e.g. Main member user provide user access to upload documents (document admin user should also have login details)? b. Membership of sub user should be linked to main member plan so if main member plan expires, sub member plan should also expire?
  4. Can we send logged in user to another website/system (abstract management system) and send login credentials or token (e.g. single sign-on)? Assuming 3rd party system also supports sign-on from another system
  5. Can you start membership registration and continue later? a. User account should be created and user should be able to login later to complete membership registrations? b. Start registration, require document upload before member can finalize registration/before member can continue registration?
  6. Can member register for another membership plan when already registered for a particular membership plan? a. Can price of registration for second membership plan be changed if member already registered for another membership plan?
  7. When multiple memberships are available, user should be able to register for one or multiple at the same time. If registering for more then one membership plan, user should be able to pay for all membership plans in one go (total costs of membership plans).
  8. Workflow a. start registration process and depending on member type selected, display certain fields
  9. Coupons/Vouchers support? a. Coupons/Vouchers for new memberships and renewals?
  10. Is it possible to have different Joomla admin panel for each membership plan or for more then one membership plan? a. Joomla admin should only see users who have registered for specific membership plan. So basically assign a admin user to one or more membership plans (view members, invoices content etc that only belongs to specific membership plan)
  11. Can you customize member login view based on membership plan? a. Different menu items, form fields, modules, components, layout etc
  12. Admin can load users and add users to membership plans?
  13. Admin can edit the membership plan of a user
  14. Membership search in Joomla admin panel a. Create custom filters (and save filters)? b. Can you export members (all or search results)
  15. Ability for admin user to verify and activate member on membership plan if specific form fields set as Yes/No
  16. Support Offline payment allowing admin to activate membership after member has uploaded proof of payment. Admin should be able to view document uploaded to verify. a. Member should be able to login to upload proof of payment
  17. Can new payment gateways be integrated?
  18. Support for unique member numbers, invoice/order number
  19. Invoice generation with unique invoice number a. Also generate invoice for users who pay offline and upload proof of payment b. Send notification email to specified email account when payment is successful (online or EFT)
  20. Can we set payment reminder to sent to user daily , weekly etc until payment is received or admin stops reminders. Reminders should be sent multiple to same users
  21. Users can buy new subscription even in the ongoing subscription period. So he can continue the new subscription after the existing subscriber
  22. Custom field validation (e.g. phone number or identification number).
  23. Conditional fields (e.g. if you select a specific country, city field should only show cities from that country OR if you select yes for “Student” certain fields like student number become compulsory and place of employment should no longer be compulsory)
  24. Each membership plan can has it own set of custom fields.
  25. Can you have a plan and user types for each plan OR Parent plan with children plans?
  26. Integrate event management system
  27. Integration with newsletter system. Assign member to one or more mailing list depending on member type selected?
  28. Support for Docman
  29. What kind of other integration is offered – other extensions or 3rd party system?

  1. Yes and no. Really depends on task. If it is not huge I can do that sometimes even for free. If it require a lot of time and dedication I suggest to hire a freelancer.
  2. Yes. In fact Emerald does not have registration form. So it only subscribe Joomla users. Users may be registered through Joomla core registration, JomSocial, EasySocial and others...
  3. Yes. It works like this. If user purchase MUA enabled plan he can generate a coupone code, that will give same plan for free only to one user. When this plan is granted to that user, start and end dates are copied frmom parent plan. Thus it will expire the same minute.
  4. This question is not re;lated to Emerald. As I have mentioned Emerald does not register users, does not authorise them. It relay totally on Joomla user management system.
  5. Yes.
  6. This is how it work in Emertald. Registration is a differemt process. So user register first and then deside what plan he what to chose or may be no plan at all. Please read this. Subscription flows
  7. Yes user may subscribe to multiple plans.
  8. There are 3 ddiferent flows. See link above
  9. Yes. Very avanced system. You can create % discount, fixed amounts or gift certificates.
  10. There is a filter and you can see sales of particualr plan only. But you cannot limit other admins from seeing all plans sales.
  11. Some of those. Like menu items, modules. There is change group action. When user purchase plan, he is attached to another group of Joomla ACL system. Then you can set those groups for menu items or modules. It is litle bit harder with layouts. That would require some coding.
  12. Yes. You can manually assign subscription to a user
  13. Yes.
  14. You can search but ui cannot export. Use something like PMA to create CSV of your members.
  15. Yes
  16. Yes

  22. Hard to say what you expect from this. there is something like this so - yes, but it might be not what you want.
  23. See above link. Emerald has no registration form. If your registration extension have it, then yes.

  25. No parent plan and chidren plans. yes for user type for each plan.
  26. Possible. Depending on what events you what to follow.
  27. Integrated with acemail and 3 most popular online like mailchimp, getresponse.
  28. emerald have unique restriction rule that works with any extension. But if you need something special we can add new special rule.
  29. Hikashop, K2, some other I cannot recall all of them. But key is that Emerald does nto need integration and it can restrict any extension right out of the box.
