I'm a huge fan of the "Related Records" field. It's simple and powerful. But there is one thing that I'm missing. In "What to show" there should be a value "From same category", not just "Any section article" and the other options.

That would really help a lot.

Would you do me the favor and implement this feature? I don't think it is that hard to code, but I'm not sure. Keep up the great work!

... I would also really appreciate if "Search from" and "Search in" would support the "Status" field :)

Wу decided to shift our friday releases to Wednesday. Or may be to Thursday. Because the was some inconvenience to leave users with new release problems on weekends.

The feature doesn't seem to be included in the current release (2.0 Beta)? :(

Furthermore I get this error in the back end:

JFolder: :files: The path is no folder! Path: /www/htdocs/w00f6992/components/com_cobalt/fields/audio/tmpl/output

There should be parameter "Narrow by category if possible".

I have tested it should works. Note categories a listed in the Records Mode set for section or category.

I updated the field on my website, thank you. But I don't think works for me. In the attached screenshot you can see my options. In my understanding the field should display " Any section article from Section "Gutachten" whose type is "Termine" and that is in the same category as the record with the relation field" ... or did I get something wrong? For me there's no difference between narrowing YES or NO. It shows the same articles (all sections articles), not only related to the one category.

The section with "Termine" is "Gutachten" in the frontend. It is in the top-menu next to "Startseite". Second entry. There you find all categories of the section. "Termine" are in nearly all categories.

But there is not records field in that type. There is read more but it is not the one we are talking about. Could you please change or configure it as you expect it to work?

The type "Verlauf der Begutachtung" contains the "related record" field. This "related record" field is configured to display all "Termine" in the same category. But it shows all "Termine" records from any section instead of the same category.

Can you tryt o turn off SEF and see it is works? I have discovered a little bug in SEF which did not allow category ID to be transfered to Article view.

I have turned it off now.

But it made no difference. Still the same problem as described before. I will turn it back on.
