Image field upload from local disk

Is it possible to registered frontend user upload his own image to specific folder which is created by administrator in backend? This kind of image upload works fine in Seblod: registered frontend user doesn't need to know anything about directories etc. If I would use Joomla Media manager the situation for user is even worse because of open permissions for all folder.

There is no such a function in image field for Cobalt 7. But it is done for Cobalt 8. Can you use Cobalt 8 and Joomla 3.0?

If not, tyr to install Field of Cobalt 8 on Cobalt 7. Basically it should work with small adjustments in field templates.

Unfortunately there is no other solution. You can only use Cobalt 8 because only there image field has upload feature.
