I can't submit an article in the front-end. I press on the button and nothing happens.

You have to look into console. Perhaps there is JS error which happens very often when people use extension that loads jQuery. Sometimes it conflicts with mootools. Please, if you do not know what is console and how to look, watch this video.

I fixed it by reinstalling Joomla and installing this component again. Thanks anyway.

I have the same problem.

I turned on the console to see where it go's wrong and got this: 'Uncaught refference error: Joomla is not defined' (als see the screenshot).

What to do?

It means that Joomla object either not loaded or most of all not initialised. In Chrome inspector open Console tab and see what is there. I am sure there are a lot of errors and I am sure you use something that loads jQuery not correctly.

This is in the console tab.

I see you have Rt template and you enabled caching and compression. Try to play with this parameter. Try to enable only compression or only caching. I think this is the reason. It combines all JS script to one but with wrong order.

Or may be you have htaccess protection because it cannot even load cached scripts.

Enabled caching and compression, nothing worked.

Would it help if i gave you access to my system?

By looking onto source you still have it on.

That is strange! - I switched of the Gantry cache and Gantry zipper in the template. - I switched of the Cache and GZIP pagecompression in the joomla install.

Any idea what's going on?

kind regards,

Christophe

I am sorry but i could not find where. But I confirm that it combine all JS files into one and it is empty by the way. Cannot find how to turn it off but if you do I think it will work.
