Hello,

I installed Cobalt on to seperate Webservers and followed the instructions in the Quick Start. Everthing works fine, but there is no button on the FrontEnd to edit or add. Also the message for login will not be shown.

The only thing I see is

"There are no articles here. Be first who post here./"

Can You help?

Thx, Alex

Please check following.

  1. You have opened and saved section templates settings

  2. You have chosen types in Submission types section parameters.

  3. In the type parameters you set access to submit for user you are on frontend

Very crucial! Often forget about this little important detail. (can it be automated somehow?)

Yes in Cobalt 8 totally redone. Saves parameters per section, field, or any other instance. And also provides default parameters.

Hello I have the same problem with the pepperstreet but I don't understand the first two solutions. In which version of Colbat can I check the following ? (I am using the Cobalt 7.16 )

  1. You have opened and saved section templates settings

  2. You have chosen types in Submission types section parameters

Same Problem here. All Parameters seem ok, except section template settings for section menu. There is none available :(

If you authorise here you will be able to add private comments.

Or you can use private text block (lock icon) in the comment.

Can I save the form in the database?

Of course. Every article you save in fact all saved in DB. And then you can later list it for everybody or just for yourself.
