I'm still working on the improvement of my search options, and I have a (silly) question. It seems that I have to use the Cobalt serach Input field to search with boolean operators in my database, but somehow the search input field is not there anymore. I must have deleted it at any moment because I thought it was confusing (I have a separate 'search tab' that one can use, and then you get the Cobalt advanced search and filter options). But now it seems necessary to have it back, and I can't find it! So, where can I put the Cobalt Search Input Field back into the blue area (which is green in my case) ;-) ?

Hard to say.

  1. Did you turn it off in markup template parameters?
  2. Did you deleted it in your custom template?
  3. Are you on the page where you see articles or that is page without article? What I mean is that Cobalt hide search field on pages that shows no articles. It means that search will not show anything either.
