How to edit system messages?

Hi,

How can I edit the system messages such as "The article was added but it wil be published after approving by the moderator" and "Item successfully submitted." ?

You can create Language overrides.

  1. Open /languages/en-GB/en-GB.com_cobalt.ini

  2. Find text you want to change and copy its key. The uppercase text before =.

  3. Got to Joomla backend/Extensions/Langage Manager/Overrides

  4. Add override for that key.

Of course you could change the original language file, but in that case you would lose all your changes on next update.

Item Successfully submitted is a Joomla standard message. search in en-GB.lib_joomla.ini
