Link to author profile not working for 'simple_list template' - but does work in 'default' template - Cobalt 8

For the record list, if you use the 'default' template a link to the authors profile works and the filter appears.

If you change to 'simple_list' template the filter appears but the link to profile doesn't.

Not sure if it matters, but I am using Community Builder to display the author profiles.

I check it locally and user names displays in both templates. Maybe you have done some customizations? You can give us links on pages and ftp access and we check it.

I switch back to 'default' templates, and now only place where error is at bottom of full record view.

Try to turn error reporting maximum and debug mode on in global Joomla config. Perhaps you will see additional info.
