gallery field with default image

Currently there is no default image that you can set for the gallery field. It would be very much helpful if we have this functionality.

Sergey: I know you never disappointed to any of your customers. This is my kind request , I will be grateful to you if you could implement this in upcoming release. Is it possible?

This feature has been already discussed somewhere. Since we will change uploader in Cobalt 9 we cannot implement it now. Current upload still run on MooTools. And we do not want to hack JS files in case there is an issue and we need to update.

But in Cobalt 9 we will fully rewrite uploader based on jQuery upload plugin. And we will add feature there.

Unfortunately with this feature I might disappoint you :(

Cobalt 9 is scheduled for the end of December.
