I started playing with Cobalt 8 today (it's fantastic! :D)

I wanted to know if there is any way to have the filters always displaied in the record list view, just as it was in the old resources (see also the attached screenshot)

I know I could probably use a filter module, but maybe the possibility is still there and I can't see it among all those cool options...

Yes but now only through template editing. There is no template that will show all filters. You just need to delete classe collapse from div with filters and it will be visible.

Just a quick related question: Is it a bootstrap collapse technique? Currently working for the first time with BS on a media stock market script. And i was thinking about a collapsable Sidebar. This sidebar is also an advanced search bar. Is it possible to store the collapse state in a cookie? If this is too off-topic, you can reach me via skype message ;-)
