Слетела кодировка в Cobalt при обновлении Joomla

Поставил для опытов Joomla 2.5.6, установил Cobalt7, игрался с настройками, вывел русские надписи на странице редактирования описания товара. Сегодня обновил Joomla до 2.5.9. В итоге - каракули вместо кирилицы. В чем может быть проблема?

Здравствуйте, такой проблемы не замеченно. Попробуйте пересохранить тип, поля. Может быть проблема в кодировке базы данных, должна быть UTF-8.

Там есть проблема на локальных вампах и ксампах. Надо в htaccess провисать

AddDefaultCharset utf-8

Я пробую не на локалке, а на хостинге, просто создал субдомен и экспериментирую.

Удалить просто. Зайдите в управление расширениями и найдите все по слову Cobalt. Там должно быть много всего. Выделите все и удалите.
