Hello, just found this bootstrap related "growl" and "notimoo" alert system. Mootools is still present in J3++ But there might come a moment in time, where it disappears... who knows ...

Besides other jQuery based "Growl-Style" alerts...

The following projects are "Bootstrap Alerts" related. Maybe interesting for Cobalt 9, X, etc. ;-)

1.) Bootstrap Notify
Bootstrap alert system made better, builds off of bootstrap-alert.js github project

2.) Bootstrap-growl
Pretty simple jQuery plugin that turns standard Bootstrap alerts into "Growl-like" notifications.

3.) PNotify (fna Pines Notify has new homepage)
JavaScript notifications for Bootstrap (or jQuery UI).

4.) Bootstrap Growl 2.x
Turning standard Bootstrap alerts into "Growl-like" notifications.

Is it possible to position the alert boxes by default? I mean, exactly like in your mentioned screenshot. Starting at the bottom is much better then on top. It should also have space above... a margin from the top window border. Otherwise, important navigation parts would be hidden. (this often happens on mintjoomla homepage)

I think you can use only positions like bottom, top and right and left. But if you want to move it little bit upper you will need to change CSS.

I think this one. Look in inspector where to apply it.

Yes. Not all but bootstrap-notifications.

Just noticed that the Notification module v8.25 deprecated the "NotiMoo" script,

notimoo_deprecated

and offers a "Bootstrap Notify" option :) When has it been updated? Totally missed that ;) :D

BTW, there is a style called "inverse", which is actually the yellow warning style. It has the right CSS class, but no styles. Bootstrap v2 seems not to include any dark/inverted alert styles. AFAIK, Bootstrap v3 did get rid of it completely. Also for

So, I assume this style should be used for "custom" appearance and colors. Maybe it makes sense to change the CSS class accordingly... alert-custom and maybe a hint in the tooltip which classes should be used in my own template CSS.

On some templates inverce may be yellow.

pepperstreet When has it been updated?

Immetiately after update to Joomla 3. because this is based on Mootools and this thing eventualy will go.
