Greetings,

Yesterday the field to reply to forum topics was there. Today, it is not...

I am not sure what caused this. Maybe it is because I have tried several different editors? I changed to the editor I was trying in the "Body" field features each time.

Right now I am using JCE editor. JCK editor doesn't seem to work for Joomla 3 at all and CKEditor is missing some things that I want that JCE already comes with out of the box.

When I go to make a topic, the editor is there and works great. But once I made the topic, there is no place to repy, just a big empty area. I have tried changing editors and themes, to no success.

I am uploading a screenshot to show the missing editor. If any other info is needed, please, let me know so I can get this resolved! Thanks!

So I've been working on figuring this out...

It looks like either it is a problem with JCE or Joomla comment system is interfering with Cobalt.

If I have JCE as the editor for Joomla, I have no reply box for Cobalt forms. If I use any other editor for Joomla, I get a reply box, but it is using tinymce no matter what the editor for Joomla is or the editor set for the body field. I find this real strange.

JCE works for making topics and elsewhere in Joomla as well....

Any ideas?

Did you try editor parameter in comments adapter parameters?

Where is comment adapter parameters?

The only place I found that deals with Comments is in Types > Topic/Ticket > Comments Parameters

However in Comments Parameters I see no where to set the editor. Only about which comment system to use, who can make comments, private comments, rules, ratings, and attachments.

Sackgesicht, I don't see a TYPES -- General Parameters anywhere in Types. Maybe that is missing somehow from my installation?

Thanks so much for the screenshots. That really helped to put me where I needed to go. And allowed me to fix the problem.
