I see that types cannot be ordered in backend, so i guess in that menu they get ordered by ID

will I have to switch types IDs in database tables to affect the ordering of the dropdown menu?

and if I do that, will this create problems?

I have no records yet, just 1 section and some types

As of now there is no way to order types in that list. I am sorry. I only can add automatic sorting by name if it will be ok.

that would be nice but I would like to have the possibility to choose it or not.

I mean, in some cases (and knowing that the first created type will be lisyted firts and so on) I may want to create the types in the order I want them listed,

if alphabetic ordering is automatically applied I will loose that possibility

I'll add ID ordering by default.
