Using Cobalt with Community Builder - Cobalt 8

Hi I am looking to use Cobalt to create a custom content type from front-end use. However I already use community builder to restrict access to specific resources. Is it possible to use community builder to login and restrict access to Cobalt categories? Thanks Libby

Would you mind to explain how you retrict the access?
Do you talk about J! core usergroups and ACL?
Or do you even use CBSUBS for content restriction?

With Emarld for sure. With other restrict(membership software) I am not aware.
