how to show module.....

Suggestions & thougths:

A.) Custom Code in your J! template.
Logic: Check current URL, if you are on a category or article page context. Put "IF condition" around your module-position. Hide and show that postion respectively. Keyword is "jRequest" and "jInput".

B.) AMM - AdvancedModule Manager
Ask Peter at Nonumber.nl, if he will add MJ Cobalt support. He did support ME Resources in the past. (the PRO version comes with PHP custom code parameter, which may work like suggestion A.)

C.) METAMOD (pro)
Same applies to this extension, it can display modules more dynamically. More or less it works with simple code snippets (rules). Basically, it supports any other extension. Hence the ME Resources recipes on their page. Already created a topic about Cobalt.

If you study the ME Resources recipes... and this article about "Page Identification" ... you might be able to create a working solution for Cobalt
