BTW, the downloads section could benefit from a "Latest updates" module ;-)

I would try to replicate something like the right sidebar on fields page/fullview.

I cannot do it because all templates are designed for this width. If I make width shorter I'll have to recompose list templates.

But botton sounds goot. I'll try how it looks and if ti si ok I'll place it.

As usual, there is more than one way to skin a cat. :D

Just some quick and dirty heads-up:

  • current list order is most important. keep it like it is

  • modules are second priority, but a real good help for new customers, that need a quick overview... and assistance what is cool or not.

  • list layout is not too different to your full-view. There you have a sidebar, too. (o.k. it squishes the buy buttons. But they could be even smaller or vertical aligned all the time. Currently they are "swimming" in the content)

  • BTW, the intro parts are not identical. Some show unnessecary infos... some do not... They should be equal for a professional look.

Current full view - could be optimized

List view with sidebar (just temp CSS test)

For that we need to add raad more placeholder into textarea. Otherwise it just trim certain amount of characters.

All your notes are good. As i mentioned somewhere already it is our second stage of website developent. 1 was to move to new site. And second apply to it some designer work.

I see, its a textarea which includes text and table etc. . I thought it was an intro issue. No problem with your priorities. Totally agree with you. Just want to post a quick reminder ;-) I always care about visual stuff like that -> occupational disease ;-)

Ys, I know. That is because it is textarea and it cuts by number of symbols. We will add separator to this field later.

I see. Isn´t it to complicated? I mean, why should the textarea field have a special "readmore" function... isn´t that a feature for the HTML-field?

I would simply setup the download infos like this:

INTRO:

Title, Version, Image or Icon etc.

Text teaser for highlights and summary (same length for all articles! No truncation)

FULL:

Text (HTML) with more details and styling.

Any other fields...
