Hello, I just wonder about DISQUS and some of my comments during the last weeks. Somehow, some of my comments are missing. Recently I found one comment with a total wrong article title and link... really strange. Maybe a general issue or just related to moderation and approval?

@All
I have also missing comments on other websites. Has anybody made similar experiences?

@Sergey
Did you get any notifications about new comments? e.g. in your latest blog article. I remember, I was the first commenter. I have created 2 comments, did some edits.

Thanks in advance.

I do not all notifications in blog. But sometimes I have.

Disqus backend notified me about some "orphaned" comments with same email address. There was an option to assign those comments to my account... but that did not really fix my main problem:

  • Totally lost comments :(

Really strange.

I have not confronted this issue yet. All my comments are in place. When you manage 1 000 000 comments a day, it is normal that 100 of them get lost :) May be yours are one of those.

Yep, but it happens too often. Almost on a regular basis. It feels like a random game: 1 is ok, 1 is lost, 1 is ok, next is lost... etc.
(I tend to not post via disqus anymore)

This is strange. Try to login and edit your profile. May be some settings will solve it.

I have not confronted this issue yet. However what I'm facing lately using Disqus is missing sometimes the notification email about a new comments (although the comment is added corectly to Disqus). It happens in my blog and I'm using J!2.5. I do not know if I'm missing something in the JS configuration...
