Hello, a totally unselfish idea for Cobalt and Emerald marketing... ;-)

1.) What about Promo Coupons on the following occasions:

  • ThanksGiving
  • BlackFriday
  • CyberMonday
  • Xmas
  • NewYear
  • etc.
  • Cobalt's Birthday?
  • Sergey's Birthday ;-)

2.) Or even 1 free download on mentioned occasions of a featured "commercial" Cobalt field?

3.) Or special group deals on "MightyDeals" etc. ?

4.) Discounts for subscription re-newal, rewarding loyal customers

I think, all vital marketing instruments these days.

Truth said, every Software House must have a free version of something because more users will try it. Software will improve because larger bug report and those who like it, purchase additional features.

Having this in picture, it would be more logical that people who contributed more (monetary) to the company should be rewarded, not as free... but as discount.

Something like after the 3rd subscription, get 10%-20% off on the next one. Or.. when C9 is released make a special discount for beta users, since they will help improving the software.

Dscounts never merge. You have either one or the other.

It is on every plan when you update it. But you will get either 20% on-time update or 35% promotion.
