I remember it. This formatter will be part of the Date & Time field along with Calendar view records list template.

Just a little heads-up ;-) AFAIK, the formatter is not included or ready, yet. Right?

While reading and trying some Drupal distributions and modules... which had a Calendar display with iCal subsribe and download link, I found the following PHP class package called iCalcreator.

Is it of any help for you or Cobalt in general?

Maybe unnecessary, since Cobalt does its own work and preparation before formatter URL call...!?

Anyway, here is a link with infos, usage, and a list of users/projects. e.g. Joomla extensions like jCal Pro by AnythingDigital, and GCalendar by DigitalPeak.

I am very interested in an iCal (or caldav) formatter as well. I am using DPCalendar for some things and would love to integrate some Cobalt data with their calendar. They have a CSV import option that I'm looking at as well using the CSV formatter in Cobalt but that will take more work to get working properly for this purpose.
