Hello, what is best practice to sell 1 item with different prices? An item is actually the same file, but may have different "licenses".

Only possible with multiple uploads? That would result in storing the same data multiple times.

A.) o.k. and makes sense if you add a special license text file or info to each of the downloads.

B.) But a license is not made or uploaded by the seller! So, it is more a default given by the site owner.

Task to solve:

How to offer the same download with different prices, according to a license type?

I do not see any other option but few fields in the same article.

I think so. It is too complicated price input and later calculation. But you can always use read also for showing related articles.

Your idea is good. And I would accept id gladly. But I afraid I am full of work for next 6 month :)
