(moved topic from Cobalt7 to Cobalt8 category)

I know, the time input supports the mouse-wheel... but the average user might be confused. Is it possible to add:

  • clickable icons for decrease/increase
  • multilingual hint about input possibilities
  • cherry-on-the-cake: touch enabled for mobiles/tablets?

Just out of curiosity... are there any final decisions for a new jQuery date/time picker in Cobalt9 / Emerald10?
BTW, what are the plans for Joomla core calendar?! Could not find any news or infos.

This is the problem. I cannot find one that would support all the features of date and time field.

And what about this one: http://www.keenthemes.com/preview/metronic/theme/templates/admin_material_design/components_pickers.html

This metronic theme uses bootstrap date and time picker: http://eternicode.github.io/bootstrap-datepicker/?markup=input& ;format=&weekStart=&startDate=&endDate=&startView=0&minViewMode=0&todayBtn=false&clearBtn=false&language=en&orientation=auto&multidate=&multidateSeparator=&keyboardNavigation=on&forceParse=on#sandbox

Metronic admin theme ( http://themeforest.net/item/metronic-responsive-admin-dashboard-template/4021469 ) uses bootstrap 3. I created joomla template from that and now I try to implement cobalt to it.

Also hence my older related topic. I had collected some of the popular and interesting ones...
(PS: topic needs some maintenance and re-styling, due to old forum/text formatting)

What about license? Can I extract that UI element from theme to use in other commercial product?

If I'm not mistaken it uses Apache License.
