Hi, We are using Emerald 10.104 on our site and it seems that when the users subscription expires, they are still able to access the content. The users have a padlock next to their account on the sales listing page within the Emerald Control Panel, but on logging in the restricted content is still available.

The plans are set to have actions to allocate the members to a group on signup and the option to remove them from these groups after expiry is set to yes.

I've tested this by setting up an account, cancelling this account and was then able to log back into the account to see the restricted content.

We are having the same problem. We are finding clients who cancelled their subscriptions can still access the site. We have to manually go to > Joomla > USERS and uncheck all the boxes each time someone cancels.

If this can be fixed I will be eternally grateful! Thanks

Hi, I'm the developer for the site above, if you need any additional information or assistance in resolving this please let us know as the problem is causing a fairly significant amount of overhead.

Kind Regards, Ross

I would like to have an access to your site to check how plan is configured. Please rovide me access credentials, Link to Emerald control panel. Access should be superadmin level.

Apologies Sergey, the account listed in the original request was removed as part of a cleanup. I've re-activated it now and confirmed it has Super Users access.

You have more than 30 plans. Which one to use to test? What plan does not work.

Hi Sergey, None of the plans which are currently active are working. As an example the CHARTIST PRO - MONTHLY bundle can be signed up for without an initial cost and then cancelled.

This should remove the user from a number of groups (it does add them to the groups successfully) however they remain in those groups until they are manually removed.

Here is what I did.

  • I created user Srhioromano.
  • Under that user I subscribed chartist pro monthly.
  • Activated plan for user with admin account.
  • Refresh page on the site as that user
  • Check backend and all plans was assigned to that user
  • Unpublish user subscription as admin
  • Refresh page as serhioromano
  • Check in backend user is not only one group registered

All works fine.

Note that change of user groups happen not when you as admin cancel subscription but when user access site. Next page refresh after subscription expires apply group change.
