I have unpublished a bunch of articles. Instead of getting a 404 error page it is showing a warning "Error This record is unpublished".

How do I make them disappear?

Also, is it possible to have them have a 410 error instead of a 404 error?

You try to unpublish them from backend or frontend?

Also note that if you look your site as superadmin you will still see unpublished articles. It only works for simple users.

Hi Sergey,

I unpublished the articles from the front end. Then, when they were all unpublished, I also unpublished the Types and the Sections from the backend. And I get the notice "Error This record is unpublished".

Here are some urls so you can see what's happening:

Section - https://feastforfreedom.com/ingredients

Article - https://feastforfreedom.com/ingredients/item/8-10264-10002-sugar

Basically I'd like them to all disappear as if they never existed to visitors. If I need to fully delete everything I will, but it would be a bit easier if I can at least keep the Section, Type, categories, and fields in place, since they were a lot of work to build, and I may want to put articles in there again some time in the future.

Thank you.

If section is unpublished, all articles are concidered as unpubliahed too. екн to delete URL to that section or unpublish it.
