Want to hide Category button on list view

Hello,

I have a section, with a number of articles. But I only have one category. So I want to hide the category button that shows in the list view above the list. I'm not talking about the category column IN the list. I'm talking about the button/link that is showing once, above the list of articles. How do I hide it?

Hello Thora, most of the visible elements are driven by section parameters and/or respective templates. I assume you are referring to the Category Index.

Edit your Section -> General Parameters tab -> Templates -> Category Index NONE

cob_sec_params_templates_cat_index

BTW, if you don't need any categories you might also use the section directly.
Hence the related parameters in -> Type -> Submission Parameters tab -> Categories Behaviour

cob_type_submission_params_cat_select

cob_type_submission_params_cat
