Somehow your website does not load bootstrap. I explicitly call it from my code but it is not there. Check that media/jui/js/bootstrap.js exists and its .min version.

As far as I can see, Bootstrap JS from JUI is loaded. But also a Bootstrap v3.0.3 JS ?! Apart from that 2 jQuery Libs. Even 1 of them seem to be a pre-release? According to its name. (Besides a lot of other JS files is loaded.)

so do you think the Bootstrap v3.0.3 JS is causing the conflict - being there are multiple being loaded?

Just guesswork. But with so many scripts and different versions it is hard to say. Anyways, the site's JS/CSS have to be consolidated and optimized. I bet you will get rid of any issues "automatically".

I think bootstrap 3 might be a conflict. Although it works on other templates. Thereare simply too much of jQuery loaded. Disabel all plugins and modules that loads own jQuery.

lucky me -- somewhere along the way it fixed itself -- wish I could provide an answer as to why -- but it just started working again.
