Hello there,

I'm excited to check out Cobalt, very powerful.

Now I have some questions on the e-commerce SSI features. At the moment, there's the Voucher field.

Is it possible to create product bundles where buyers can buy a bundle of say, 10 vouchers. Let me explain ...

I create bundle type for food and drink fields. The food and drink themselves are to be created by admin. For example,

food field items - spaghetti, fish and chips, big breakfast, etc drink field items - coffee, tea, soda

So admin can create many different bundles of meals by selection from field list i.e.

Bundle 1 (5 vouchers) - spaghetti + coffee Bundle 2 (10 vouchers)- fish and chips + soda

Then users can buy vouchers for say Bundle 1. After purchase, users have 5 meal vouchers for 'spaghetti + coffee' in their account. These vouchers can be redeemed later.

Is this possible?

Secondly, instead of using payment gateways like paypal, can we have 'Cash' i.e. the admin receives cash and update the purchase to the users account manually.

Looking forward to your guidance. Thank you!

That would not be possible.

Because in your case you have different voucher types. Voucher field sell only one time of the voucher. In your case you want to create bundle like Bundel one (Skype voucher for $10, iTunes voucher for $10). This is impossible. Because you simply put serial numbers in text field and vocher field do not know what line - what type. It consider every line to be the same type.

Otherwise, you would have to add every voucher in field parameters as new product not simply line of text.

This obstacle makes it impossible to make what you want.

Good point. Applies to all fields with payment. How to set a manual payment i.e. show text message and instructions for cash, or data for manual bank transfer?! How to moderate such a workflow.

yes there is offline payment gateway. it sends email with instruction how to pay with wire transfer, or systems like westernunion. It also creates unactive subscription. When you receive money you just click activate.

Where? There are no options in backend parameters. Does it always show-up in frontend?

The online gateways seem to be required. How to setup manual payment only?

Sergey In deed there is nothing like that.

Why is this?

(I think it is a basic requirement, and a good standard option. e.g. for local clubs with vouchers, reserved tickets, or events and workshops with "physical" attendees etc.)

I'll try to solve this and create something for Cobalt 9.
