Option to disable a joomla user group to set "Email alerts schedule" to "Do not send e-mails"

I cannot do that. This is international requirement for email alerts or notifications. User HAVE TO HAVE way to unsubscribe them or those emails are considered spam. Legaly I cannot do option that will put users to situation where they cannot unsubscribe.

Well that sucks, as I discovered in my case I have lots of them which to that stupid thing and now they never get notified when something happens on their listings. So is useless to have them registered then.

Can we at last show them a custom confirmation message when they select that option ? so they know what will happen exactly when they select that option.

Yes a JS alert and a message ( that can be override with Joomla language ) saying:

"Hey if you disable notifications you will never get notified about events on your listings, you sure you want to do that"?

Yes/No
